Youth national team chooses Nigeria over Bulgaria – National team

Bulgarian youth national player Sylvester Alexander Jasper admitted that he has not yet decided for which national team he will play. He was born in England, his mother is Bulgarian from Dupnitsa and his father is Nigerian, and he can play for all three countries.

Jasper is a Fulham footballer, and this season he will be playing on loan at League 1 team Bristol Rovers. He has 2 matches for the England under-15 team, as well as for the youth national team of Bulgaria.

“My mother is fully Bulgarian and my father comes from Nigeria. My family comes from Bulgaria and was able to watch me play live for the first time. I have not decided which national team to play for yet. I can represent England, Nigeria or Bulgaria. I feel I’m good enough to play for all three teams. Now I have to earn a place in the club team and play as well as I can. We’ll see what happens,” 20-year-old Jasper told Bristolworld newspaper “.
