Yomov was caught with doping, UEFA temporarily suspended his rights – CSKA

On August 25, a few hours before the match with Basel, CSKA received a letter from the UEFA Anti-Doping Commission about the detection of a prohibited substance in the body of Georgi Yomov. The urine sample was taken on 28.07. after the home match with Gyorche Petrov. Due to confidentiality requirements from UEFA, CSKA does not disclose what the substance in question is.

A full investigation is pending until the case is resolved. Meanwhile, Yomov has until 01.09. to give his opinion to the international anti-doping authorities. The football player has his rights temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days.

All vitamins and nutritional supplements that are given to the football players in the team are of certified global brands and approved by medical personnel.
