Xiaomi 13, Buds 4, Watch S2: a conference with a busy program on December 1

Vivo got the ball rolling at the end-of-year conferences, and Xiaomi will follow suit from December 1. The Chinese firm made the announcement on the Chinese social network Weibo, as usual. The opportunity for her to lift the veil on the 13 series (and not 14, as rumors could wrongly suggest) as well as on MIUI 14, the software interface that will accompany it.

This announcement is accompanied by some images shared by Lei Jun, the boss of Xiaomi. On the first, we can see an official visual of the Xiaomi 13, which has a flat OLED screen covering 93.3% of the total front surface. It also says the bezels measure 1.61mm above and to the side, and 1.81mm below. Finally, the width of the smartphone is also specified: 71.5 mm. But that’s not all, since a second visual emphasizes the IP68 certification (which guarantees water resistance) granted to the series. If the Xiaomi 12 had not been entitled to certification, unlike Mi 11 Pro (which was not marketed in France), this is therefore the case for this future Xiaomi 13. Finally, a last visual seems to present the back finish of the product, which could sport a leather effect, probably in addition to a more conventional glazed version.

In addition to this series of smartphones, the firm has confirmed the simultaneous launch of a Watch S2 as well as Xiaomi Buds 4, the brand’s true wireless headphones. Other products will also be present such as a new wifi router, a projector or even the Chinese company’s very first desktop computer.
