Who raised Gina Lollobrigida’s millions?

Who built the legacy of sex symbol Gina Lollobrigida, who died on Monday at the age of 95.

In 2021, there was a court order that the legal guardian who should take care of her assets is her only son – Milko Skofic Jr. Magistrates said the 94-year-old was too vulnerable and a third party should help her.

Her possessions include a villa in southeastern Italy, an apartment in Rome, a residence in Monte Carlo and a shop in the Tuscan town of Pietrasanta, as well as antique furniture, jewelry and works by various artists.

One of the contenders was the Spanish businessman Javier Rigau, to whom Lollobrigida was engaged 16 years ago, when she was 79 years old. The engagement was called off, but it turns out he “married” her in 2010 using a woman masquerading as the star.

Immediately afterwards, the Italian star denounced him as a fraud who had tried to inherit her fortune.

“He convinced me to give him power of attorney, who knows what he made me sign…” she complained at the time.

After the mega-deed, Rigau said he would get nothing, but he said her inheritance was gone.

Her secretary, 34-year-old Andrea Piazzola, who may have taken advantage of her age, is also a suspect. He must appear before magistrates and explain where 3 million euros went in the period 2013-2018.

Until the end of her life, she claimed that he was correct and was devoted to her, but the star was known for her weakness for younger men.
