The head coach of Sportist Svoge Borislav Kyosev was affected after the 1:2 defeat by Slavia for the Sesame Cup of Bulgaria. He was satisfied with the performance of his players, but was extremely disappointed with the refereeing of Wasimir El-Khatib.
“It turned out to be a decent match. We did a very good job. We opposed Slavia. The judge did very well. What he had taken responsibility for, he finished. Such things affect so badly that the entire Bulgarian football may soon end,” he said.
“I spoke with the president and he is ready to resign tomorrow and stop sponsoring the team. People can’t be giving their money and messing around like that with teams that don’t have positions. This is a complete mockery. It is clear that we were neither favorites today nor to win the Cup, but let things be decided on the pitch and not off it. Two clean sheets canceled us out. We were warned yesterday that this judge was coming on a mission. I generally don’t believe in such things, but things are getting out of control,” Kyosev continued.
“We played very well against one of the leading teams. Purely physically, we were better in overtime. We missed more chances. We deserved the victory more,” concluded Borislav Kyosev.
