Tigres are trying to find a way to part ways with striker Jordi Caicedo and get rid of his salary, Mexican media reports. Speculation continues linking the Ecuadorian with a return to CSKA, but according to local publications, it is unlikely that the 25-year-old footballer will wear the Reds’ team again, as the Bulgarian club is unable to pay his fee.
At the same time, Caicedo is reluctant to make concessions from a financial point of view, although the threat of not playing at least at the beginning of 2023 is very real, after Tigres did not sign him for the new season and he remained out of the accounts of head coach Diego Coca.
With the CSKA team, Caicedo scored 31 goals in 64 matches and also won the Bulgarian Cup. He was also chosen as the best foreigner in the league.
We remind you that there were controversies surrounding the departure of Jordi Caicedo from CSKA, as he and his agent tried to twist the hands of the club management in order to arrange the best possible transfer.
