The Russian Bond turned out to be a woman. SBU captured “agent 007” in Zaporozhye

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained a female FSB agent in Zaporozhye who was passing on information to the enemy about partisans in the occupied territories and the location of ammunition caches of the Ukrainian armed forces, the agency said.

According to the SBU, the woman arrived in the city under the guise of a volunteer, but in fact she was performing tasks for the Russian Federation to establish the location of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the resident of the temporarily occupied Polog region of the Zaporozhye region was recruited by the special services of the Russian Federation at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

“From her Russian instructor, she received the call sign ‘Agent 007’ and instructions on how to carry out intelligence and subversive activities on the territory of the region. To cover up her criminal activities, the collaborator presented herself as a volunteer. In the temporarily occupied territories, she used her personal connections in order to collect information about the members of the guerrilla movement in the southern part of the country in order to further identify them,” the SBU report said.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the agent’s next task was to establish contacts with Ukrainian defenders to establish the location and movement of the VSU units, for which she traveled to Zaporozhye.

“She planned to transmit the received coordinates, as well as data on the number of personnel and equipment of the defense forces to the occupiers through a specially created anonymous Telegram channel. However, SBU employees quickly discovered and neutralized the offender,” the SBU reported.

Investigators have already notified her that she is suspected of treason committed during martial law, and the court has chosen a preventive measure for her in the form of detention.
