Cowabunga! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will soon be back in theaters in Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years, an animated film scheduled for August 9, 2023 in theaters. This reboot will include the aesthetics of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Spider-Man: Next Generation in VF), as we can appreciate in the very first trailer released this Monday.
XXL casting and rejuvenated reboot
Co-directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) and Kyler Spears (screenwriter on the series amphibian And We Bare Bears), written by Brendan O’Brien (Our Worst Neighbors), Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years will see a rejuvenated version of the famous Shell Bearers fight against an army of mutants while trying to win the love of New York City and its people.

This new film is produced by the duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the brats behind the series preacher And Invincibleas well as feature films It is the end Or The interview that kills. We can therefore expect irreverent, twisted and corrosive humor.
The film will also count on an impressive voice cast: Paul Rudd, Giancarlo Esposito, Rose Byrne, Jackie Chan, John Cena, Post Malone, Ayo Edebiri or even Ice Cube. The four main heroes will be voiced by young Brady Noon (Raphael), Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo) and Mica Abbey (Donatello).
Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years picks up on the animation style and “scribbled” and organic aesthetic introduced in the awesome Spider-Man: Next Generation in 2018. A mixture of 3D and 2D of great beauty, which has become very popular and which we have been able to appreciate in The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Puss in Boots 2 or The Bad Guys.
The film will be released on August 9 in French cinemas. You can check out his poster below.
