Slavi wanted “The Masters” to move to his personal television
On the threshold of his political career, Slavi Trifonov suddenly decided to mend his relations with the Halvadzhiyan brothers. This became clear from the statement of one of them – Judy, who noted: “Timing is important.”
Slavi Trifonov wanted the transmission of the two brothers “Masters of the Air” to be moved to his personal television “7/8 TV”. They revealed this during their visit to Yonislav Yotov – Toto.
For years, the showman Slavi Trifonov sued the two Halvadzhiyan brothers precisely because of “Masters of the Air”. The claims of the current leader of ITN were for copyright infringement due to the use of footage from his emblematic show “Slavi’s Show”, longer than 30 seconds.
About 2 years ago, however, the two countries officially buried the tomahawks.
“Slavi started calling both of us on the phones. We hadn’t heard from him for 12 years. Three times an unknown number called me, and I don’t pick up on those.
My assistant picked up the phone, but she didn’t recognize him, and he didn’t recognize who he was either. On the fourth time, I picked up the phone, and Slavi said: “From secretaries and assistants, I can’t hear you.”
He said he also called my brother and that it’s been 12 years and it’s about time we bury the tomahawks and see each other,” Maggie Halvajian said.
However, Maggi Halvadzhiyan and Slavi Trifonov met.
“That’s where everything started when he called me. I told him: “You’re judging us, aren’t you, and he continued: “I reconsidered things, it was shortly after his television was launched. They just wanted the “Masters” to be with them, but we didn’t get anywhere,” the brothers said.
It was then that the podcast was made, in which Slavi answers Maggie Halvajian’s questions.
“Ten minutes before that we saw each other and I told him: We will not talk about our affairs, we will talk about them over coffee. Here I will only ask you questions, but please smile a little”.
When asked if the drama between them was over, Judy clarified: “Well, when he entered politics, he decided to fix this drama, the timing is important.”
Maggi Halvajian revealed that 20 years ago, Slavi was not so grumpy. “I don’t know why he decided to look like that. But that’s him, he makes jokes, but even they are serious,” he added, noting that the video for the song “Living Wound” was shot by him.
