Russia will, if necessary, act in accordance with its nuclear doctrine
Moscow, in the event of a real threat, will act in accordance with its nuclear doctrine, and this is the only thing that now restrains its enemies. This was stated by former Russian President and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who is the current Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, TASS reported.
In an article in the Russian publication Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Medvedev stated: “The only thing that is stopping our enemies now is the perception that Russia will be guided by the fundamentals of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nuclear deterrence. And in the event that real threat, will act according to it,” Medvedev said.
According to him, the trouble is that in such a case no one will know afterwards whether it was a retaliatory strike or a pre-emptive strike.
According to him, this scares “the Western benefactors, who have long given the Ukrainian political establishment the illusion that it is invulnerable and unpunished in exchange for complete obedience.” That is why, according to him, the Western world balances between the desire to injure, insult, dismember and maximally destroy Russia on the one hand and the desire to avoid a nuclear apocalypse, BTA reported.
Dmitry Medvedev: “The EU has reached the gas”
Decision on the gas price ceiling
