Redmi Note 12: Xiaomi prepares its weapons for a presentation at the end of October

After a period of summer lull, Xiaomi is slowly picking up its pace of presentations. The Chinese brand, number 3 on the international smartphone market, is banking on a vast catalog of devices, among which the Redmi – more affordable than its encrypted series – figure prominently. The Redmi Note 11 series, available in many versions, thus distinguished itself throughout the year 2022.

The brand intends to unveil its estate in October – less than a year after the Redmi Note 11 – according to the visual published by Redmi on the Weibo social network, in China. It will be a complete series, including the expert of the leaked 91mobiles indicates having spotted, from a reseller, three versions: the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro +, all stamped 5G. A visible upgrade therefore, since the Redmi Note 11 were, for some, limited to 4G. Also according to rumors, at least one of these smartphones would rely on a Dimensity 820 chip, with 5G modem, to provide this connectivity.

Xiaomi is touting the arrival of two new technologies – which, we imagine, will be integrated into the most advanced of the series, the Note 12 Pro +. The manufacturer is focusing its efforts on the photography side, in particular on the definition of its sensors: from there to imagining that a 200 megapixel sensor is integrated into one of these new Redmi, in the wake of the Xiaomi 12T Pro, it does not there is only one step. As for the second novelty, it could be one of Xiaomi’s workhorses: fast charging. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ being compatible with a 120 W charge, we can expect its successor to do even better…

Those interested will not have to wait long before having the heart net, Xiaomi indicating that its presentation will take place this month. This will be a formalization in China, which always precedes by a few weeks, even a few months, the launch of these same products in Europe.
