Real Madrid’s dream of a perfect season faces failure – Spain

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid aim to make the 2022/23 season a perfect one by winning all six possible trophies in one season – something that has never been done before (NB – Barcelona do it in one calendar year, not one season).

As champions of La Liga and the Champions League, Real earned the right to participate in the UEFA Super Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Club World Cup, in addition to competing for all three traditional trophies – the aforementioned two and the Copa del Rey.

A serious problem may occur with the World Club Championship, as FIFA has not officially announced which dates it will be held.

Real Madrid, the Royal Football Federation and La Liga have also not received a letter from the world headquarters to hold the tournament.

This means that it may not take place this racing season. Usually the dates on which it is played are occupied by those for the World Cup in Qatar.

It is almost impossible for the tournament to take place before June, when the season will already be over, and even with a perfect season, Real may not win all six trophies in one campaign.

The “white” club may not have these worries in the next hours if they lose the UEFA Super Cup to Eintracht Frankfurt.

They change the calendar of the World Cup
