One step closer to ‘cancellation culture’: Ezra Miller charged with theft and breaking and entering

A new chapter has opened in Ezra Miller’s mysterious life of crime.

The 29-year-old actor, who plays Barry Allen in the upcoming Warner Bros. film The Flash, has been charged with theft and breaking and entering in Stamford, Vermont. According to the state police report, Miller stole several bottles of liquor from a home while the owners were away.

From the video cameras installed around the property, it is understood that the incident took place on May 1st, and after questioning witnesses and investigating the material, it was determined that the person who broke into the private residence was Ezra Miller.

The actor has already been charged after authorities contacted him on the evening of August 7. The court hearing is scheduled for September 26 this year.

With the latest theft, Ezra Miller’s criminal record is getting thicker, and it doesn’t look good. Neither about the future of his career, nor about the movie The Flash, in which he plays a leading role, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 23, 2023.

Since 2020, Miller has followed a pattern of systemic disturbing behavior with no prospect of change. Although he is on the verge of a “cancellation culture” that will cost him his profession, and Warner Bros. will be forgiven for the $100 million invested in The Flash.

Already at the beginning of 2022, the actor faced a series of accusations that testified to his unrestrained temper. In March this year, a couple said they were harassed by the star at a karaoke bar, where he forced them to sing, and when they refused, Miller threw a chair at the woman.

The blossoming cases continued with a lengthy interview of a Massachusetts couple with The Business Insider, who shared that the star had befriended their 12-year-old daughter and had become increasingly controlling and obsessive over the years of their relationship.

The family claims that Ezra Miller restricted access to their daughter’s phone, abused her mentally, and on several occasions when she came home, her mother noticed that the girl had bruises on her cheeks and hands.

According to their accounts, Miller had been seeing their daughter for six years, and only recently were they able to obtain protection from the authorities, which ensured that the actor would stay away from the family.

Another of the fresh allegations against the star says he housed a 25-year-old mother and her three children at his Vermont ranch, forcing them into a lifestyle that deeply disturbed the children’s father.

People familiar with the situation told The Rolling Stone that Miller repeatedly placed the children in life-threatening situations. Such as the fact that he keeps guns unattended that are scattered throughout the many rooms of his home.

According to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity, the one-year-old child who lived with him found a bullet on the floor and put it in his mouth.

But the mother claims the environment at Miller’s ranch was completely safe and helped her and her children recover after fleeing the home of her abusive husband.

And as for the weapons, the 25-year-old woman confirms that there were indeed pistols and rifles on the property, but they were stored in a separate part of the house where her children never entered.

“Ezra’s home is a haven for us. It provides us with care and treatment to get back to normal life,” she told Rolling Stone.

At the same time, her ex-partner, against whom a domestic violence complaint has been filed, gives a different version of the story. He accuses Ezra Miller of orchestrating the escape of his wife and children, and cutting off all avenues of contact with them.

As cases with a similar profile continue to pile up around The Flash star, Warner Bros. Discovery’s David Zaslav does his best to present the ongoing superhero strip in the best possible light.

The company has remained silent on Miller’s previous assault arrests and, at least for now, the film in which he stars remains on the studio’s slate.

“We have great DC movies coming up: Black Adam, Shazam: Wrath of the Gods, The Flash. We’re working on the premiere of all of them and we’re very excited. We’ve seen them and we think they’re great,” Zaslav said just days, before Miller was charged with theft.

Fans, on the other hand, are not happy with the actor’s consistent aggressive behavior and wonder how long Warner Bros. will turn a blind eye to the problems with one of their stars.
