Liverpool are preparing a sensational swap with Juventus – Football world – World Cup
Six-time European champions Liverpool could make a curious player swap. Calciomercato claim that Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic could move to Anfield, while defender Ibrahima Konate could go in the opposite direction.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of the 22-year-old Serbian and sees him as the ideal striker for his team, despite the Reds signing Darwin Nunes for a club-record £85m in the summer. His wavering form has left Klopp looking for a new solution to his attacking woes.
That could lead to a transfer for Vlahovic, who only joined Juventus in January. The Serbian international has 16 goals in 36 games for the “Biaconeri”, and at the World Cup in Qatar he scored against Switzerland in the 2:3 loss, after which our western neighbors were eliminated from the World Cup.

To make such a deal happen without digging deep into their pockets, Liverpool are ready to offer Frenchman Konate. The Italian publication wrote that Juventus planned to strengthen the defense and the French international was considered the perfect player for coach Massimiliano Allegri’s scheme.
Konate himself only joined Liverpool in the summer of 2021, but has yet to establish himself as a permanent starter due to injuries.
The Merseysiders are struggling to return to their familiar form in the Premier League after a poor start to the season. Before the World Cup break, the team is in sixth position, seven points out of fourth place.
