Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has said with great confidence that the winner of France Football’s Ballon d’Or poll is already clear, 10 months before the poll.
The Polish goal machine is among the best modern footballers never to have won football’s most prestigious individual award.

The rules were also changed. The Ballon d’Or is now awarded based on performance over a season rather than a calendar year.

“Maybe there is one more player. He plays in the same team as Messi (it’s Kylian Mbappe) but the world title is only one and it will decide which of the two wins. Leo is in top position because he lifted the world cup. It means a lot to him. Now he can enjoy it,” Lewandowski also told Mundo Deportivo.
