The Manchester United team has agreed on the transfer of the winger of Ajax – Antony. This is what the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims in his account on the Twitter social network.
According to his information, the “red devils” have reached an agreement in principle with Ajax for the amount of 100 million euros. The Brazilian international will sign a five-year contract until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend it by another year.
The transfer guru adds that the relevant contracts will be officially signed on Monday and Antony will arrive in Manchester next week.
The two sides have been in talks for weeks, with the Dutch champions rejecting bids of €80m and €90m from United and holding out for the highest possible fee.
The 22-year-old Antony was one of Manchester United’s main transfer targets this summer. He is a youth player at Sao Paulo, having spent the last two years playing at Ajax under Eric ten Haag. The winger made his debut for Brazil’s national team a year ago and has already amassed 9 appearances and 2 goals for the five-time world champions.
