Groupama wants to train 1 million people free of charge in life-saving gestures, and makes this known during a national campaign carried out with Marcel and broadcast on the occasion of World First Aid Day.
“In France, only 27% of the population has undergone training in first aid gestures“, notes Groupama in the press release presenting its 360° campaign “Les Gestes Qui Sauvent”, produced with Marcel and broadcast on September 11 on the occasion of World First Aid Day. The objective of this statement is to highlight the national program imagined by the agency and the advertiser and which aims to train 1 million people free of charge in first aid gestures. If the entire population were trained, nearly 20,000 people could be saved each year“, indicates the press release, which recalls the importance of knowing how to react at the first signs of discomfort, suffocation, cardiac arrest, hemorrhage or other.
“For the first time, a private company is taking up this great national cause: taking action to save lives. Groupama is fully playing its role here: because true to our mutualist DNA, our customers and members expect a real commitment from us on social issues, particularly in terms of health and prevention.“, says Sylvain Burel, spokesperson for the Groupama Group. The 360° campaign will be rolled out on radio, print, via a social media and influencer video campaign and in Groupama agencies.
