Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodzic is no longer the coach of the Moroccan national team. The African nation’s federation announced that his contract had been terminated due to disagreements over the best way to prepare the national team for the championships in Qatar.
“Given the disagreements between the Moroccan Football Association and coach Vahid Halilhodzic on how best to prepare the national football team for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the two sides have decided to part ways,” the Moroccan association announced.
