FIFA hits PSG – France

Paris Saint-Germain have to reduce their very high wage bill and can no longer loan out players during the winter transfer window after being banned from doing so by FIFA for reaching the limit, L’Équipe reports.

The Parisians sent Jorginho Wijnaldum to Roma, Mauro Icardi to Galatasaray, Julian Draxler to Benfica, Abdou Diallo to RB Leipzig, Levin Kurzawa to Fulham, Ander Herrera to Athletic Bilbao, Colin Dagba to Strasbourg and Leandro Paredes to Juventus.

The only way PSG can get money and reduce their wage bill is to sell players like they did with Pablo Sarabia who went to Wolverhampton.

Head coach Christophe Galtier has said that the Parisians will look for his replacement, but from the point of view of financial fair play it seems very difficult, almost impossible.

Goalkeeper Keylor Navas is headed for the Parc des Princes exits. The Costa Rican has only played one game this season, and parting ways with him could help the club a lot as his salary is one of the highest.
