Disney +: a documentary on the life and work of Stan Lee in 2023

The death of Stan Lee in 2018 at the age of 95 was experienced as a great misfortune by comic book fans. What could be more normal when you know the influence he had on the comic book industry in the United States, then on the breakthrough of Marvel heroes on the small and big screen.

Known in particular for his many cameos in films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this author, editor and producer of comics born in New York in 1922 will be entitled to a complete documentary, which will be broadcast exclusively on Disney+ in 2023. The first teaser is seen above.

This tribute to his career promises to return both to his personal and professional development and to the way in which he invested himself body and soul in his creations. And since everything is calculated at Disney, the announcement of this documentary took place yesterday, Wednesday December 28, 2022: Stan Lee should have celebrated his 100th birthday that day.

We obviously look forward to seeing how Disney will narrate and retrace the life of the man who invented characters as emblematic as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow or even the Avengers.
