French national team coach Didier Deschamps has announced his 25-man squad for the trip to Qatar. Off the list, of course, are the injured Mike Menyane, N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba.
In the defense of the world title from 2018, all the other stars of the “Roosters” will take part, including the winner of the Golden Ball – Karim Benzema, the striker of PSG Kylian Mbappe and the recently injured Raphael Varane.
The selector explained on a TV show that there could still be some change before the deadline (November 14). The reason for this would be a possible injury to one of the football players.
France are in Group D of the championship along with Australia, Denmark and Tunisia, with the Australians their first meeting on November 22 at Al Janoub.
