Deezer can find the title of a song just by humming it

Deezer today announces a new exclusive feature for its SongCatcher tool: the ability to identify a song simply by humming it, singing it or whistling it. The French specialist in music streaming is today the only service in the world to offer this new mode of music search within a mobile application.

“We are therefore very proud to be the first music streaming service in the world to give our users the possibility of identifying a title simply by humming or singing it directly in the app.says Alexandra Leloup, VP Core Product at Deezer. As we improve the algorithm, the feature will become faster and even more accurate when it comes to identifying accessible tracks in our library of over 90 million tracks.”

As a reminder, the SongCatcher feature, which allows you to identify a title broadcast around you around the world, was launched at the end of 2017. It is accessible from the Search tab, from this Tuesday, September 27.
