Big recognition: Svetoslav Vutsov in the top 10 in the world, he was valued at 2 million euros – Slavia
The goalkeeper of Slavia and the national team of Bulgaria Svetoslav Vutsov received a new international recognition. He was named among the 10 most promising under-21 footballers for his post by the Swiss-based Center for International Sports Studies (CIES).
When selecting players, age, minutes played until December 13, 2022, total experience to date, contract length and current price were taken into account. According to these indicators, Vutsov is in 10th place in the world with a coefficient of 14.9 for experience. He has 3,090 playing minutes on the year, which ranks him fifth among his peers in this top ten. The 19-year-old Romanian Robert Popa from the University of Craiova played the most – 3754 minutes.
The current price of Svetoslav Vutsov is 2 million euros, according to CIES calculations. That puts him level with Poppa, with the two sharing sixth place in value. The Belgian Maarten Vandevoord from Genk, who already has a contract with RB Leipzig, whose player he will become in the summer of 2024, is the highest rated. His value is 18.1 million euros. Vandervoort is also the leader of the most talented goalies with an experience ratio of 27.2.
At the beginning of the year, CIES again included Vutsov in another arrangement – among the 100 most talented footballers under 19 years of age in Europe, ranking him #10 among goalkeepers. Svetoslav Vutsov has already played 4 games for the men’s national team of Bulgaria.
