Dimitar Berbatov commented specially to Darik radio and dsport what he saw between CSKA and CSKA 1948. He was present at the Bulgarian Army Stadium for the explosive match between the two teams.
“It turns out to be a tense match mainly because of the situation. Both teams are trying. There are good situations, but there can be more,” said Berbatov, who left the stadium shortly before the final whistle.
“I did not witness the altercations in the VIP box. Unpleasant scenes. Despite the competition, there should be respect when the visiting team’s delegation comes. The stewards and security handled it as far as I am aware,” he added.
“We still have a lot to work on in terms of hospitality when we go to the other stadiums. But the situation is tense and the fans’ emotions are at a higher level,” Berbatov said.
