Barcelona put a serious price on Aubameyang, Chelsea continues with negotiations – Football world – Transfers

Barcelona have put a €30m price tag on Chelsea transfer target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The cash-strapped Catalan side are trying to raise funds in a bid to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.

To do this, the club’s management is ready to part with three players, including Aubameyang. Chelsea are understood to be interested in the Gabonese forward following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona will not accept offers for Aubameyang below €30. The former Arsenal captain scored 13 goals last season following his January move to Camp Nou.

Now Sky Sports reports that Chelsea have scheduled a new round of talks with Aubameyang this week. New Londoners owner Todd Bowley wants to find out, however, first what the striker’s financial requirements are before making an official offer for him.

At the same time, however, Barca coach Xavi Hernandez wants to keep the Gabonese at Camp Nou, despite the summer signings of Robert Lewandowski and Rafinha and Ousmane Dembele signing a new contract.
