An autopsy confirms the suicide of country star Naomi Judd with a gun in April 2022. Naomi Judd died at the age of 76. The singer left a death note next to her body, bg-voice.com reports.
According to the autopsy report, Judd struggled with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.
The contents of the obituary, written by Judd before his death, have not been disclosed. A toxicology report clarified that the singer had several different drugs in her system at the time of death.
The autopsy report states that she had a gunshot wound. Judd was transported to Williamson Medical Center after the incident, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
According to the report, the shot “perforated the right side of the scalp and entered the skull through an entry gunshot wound.”
Two weeks before her death, Naomi took the stage with her daughter Winona at the April 2022 Country Music Awards.
They sang a moving reconciliation song written by Naomi – ‘Love Can Build A Bridge’.
The Judd family said in a statement: “Our beloved mother and wife succumbed to mental illness. Anyone who has lived through this tragedy understands that in the depths of a mental health crisis, thinking is deeply skewed.” The family has asked for privacy at this difficult time.
