Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s entourage are already in transfer talks to decide his future. The forward signed for Chelsea on the final day of the summer transfer window, but his spell at Stamford Bridge may not last long, with Paris Saint-Germain believed to be among the teams interested in the Gabonese.
Aubameyang, 33, already has solid experience in the top leagues, having played in Spain, France, Germany and England. His recent stay at Barcelona lasted just a few months as now former Blues manager Thomas Tuchel wanted to reunite with him after the pair worked together at Borussia Dortmund.
However, the German was sacked by owner Todd Bowley days after the window closed and replaced by Graham Potter. The first few weeks following the appointment of the former Brighton boss have been positive for Aubameyang, who has scored in each of the last two games.
However, Footmercato claim that the Blues may not want to keep hold of the Gabonese beyond the end of the season, when he will have just one year left on his contract. Talks with PSG have reportedly already begun as the striker’s camp look to find a way out of Stamford Bridge if Chelsea decide to not vote him out next year. The decision may come down to how Aubameyang has performed this season.
The Londoners already have a promising young striker in their ranks as Armando Broia waits patiently for more game time. Aubameyang has not played in Ligue 1 since leaving Saint-Etienne in 2013, where he scored 41 goals in 97 games. He also had loan spells at Dijon, Monaco and Lille while a youth player for AC Milan. Aubameyang and PSG head coach Christophe Galtier worked together at Saint-Etienne between 2011 and 2013.
