Another Bulgarian joined the staff of Krastaich – BG Football – National Team

The changes in the national team of Bulgaria continue in full force. Another new face in the completely renewed coaching staff, headed by the selector Mladen Krastaich, is called Svetlin Spasov. The experienced specialist will be responsible for the fitness of the players. He has extensive experience in this position, having worked in a number of teams in our country in recent years. Among them are Arda, CSKA 1948, Lokomotiv Sofia, and currently helps Krasimir Petrov in Pirin Blagoevgrad. The former Litex and Neftohimik player worked with Krasimir Balakov in the current championship leader, and before that he was in Kardzhali at the invitation of Elin Topuzakov.

In this way, he becomes the second Bulgarian who will assist Mladen Krastaich after Ivan Ivanov. Like the young specialist, he is expected to combine his work with that of the Eagles. The rest of the staff are Stefan Jankovic, Nemanja Milincic, and Darko Bojovic will be the goalkeeping coach.

The conditioning specialist will start work as early as September, when Krstaic will gather his players for the first time in Razgrad for a camp around the Nations League matches with Gibraltar and North Macedonia. The first practice is scheduled for September 18. The Serbian coach has already announced the list of players, which includes a total of 8 debutants. A large part of the team includes young athletes who have been active in the youth formations of Bulgaria.
