Al Nasser will not stop after Ronaldo: Preparing another transfer shot – Football World – Others

The agent of Borussia (Dortmund) player Marco Reus said that the alleged interest in his client from Cristiano Ronaldo’s new club – Al Nasser (Saudi Arabia) is completely normal, given the unclear future. The Dortmund captain is out of contract at the end of this season and there is no indication whether he will leave or stay.

The English newspaper “Daily Mail” reported interest in the 33-year-old German striker, who was in the plans of coach Hanzi Flick but missed the World Cup in Qatar due to injury. However, the publication does not stop there and claims that Al Nasser wants to attract Croatia captain Luka Modric as well as defender Sergio Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain.

Agent Dirk Hebel told the Bild am Sonntag newspaper that it is “perfectly normal for other clubs to be interested in a player like Marco, whose contract expires in six months.”

“Marco has always emphasized how close Dortmund is to his heart, but also that he wants to continue playing football. So it’s only natural that we have to look for other opportunities,” the player’s manager added.

Royce himself was born in this city and is accepted by the fans as a symbol of the team. The management stated that they would discuss a new agreement with the person who has been in the team since 2012. With the Borussia team, he played 368 games and scored 156 goals. Interviews in the past have made it clear that his desire is to end his career at Dortmund, but he may have to accept a pay cut in the event of a contract renewal as Dortmund look to make results rather than time on the pitch as an essential element for all future contracts.
