American actor Leslie Jordan died of natural causes and was not the result of a traffic accident last year, overseas media reported, citing a Los Angeles medical examiner’s report.
His death occurred from sudden cardiac dysfunction due to cardiovascular disease, the medical examiner’s report said.
The 67-year-old actor died on October 24 after his car crashed in the Hollywood area.
An autopsy found no life-threatening trauma, the medical examiner said in the document, which ruled the cause of death natural.
Jordan had been sober for more than two decades at the time of his death, and toxicology tests did not detect alcohol or drugs.
The actor is known for his roles in “Will and Grace”, “Awkward Family History” and others, as well as funny videos on Instagram aimed at uplifting people during the Covid-19 pandemic, BTA recalls. In the social network, his followers are over 5.8 million.
Leslie Jordan won an Emmy Award in 2006 for her portrayal of Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace.
