A surprise name will be the solution in attack for Manchester United – Soccer World – Transfers

Manchester United will try to sign Burnley striker Wut Weghorst on loan, according to Footmercato.
The Netherlands international is currently on loan at Besiktas, but Sky Sports reports that the Red Devils have already made initial contact with Burnley to see if a deal is possible. However, such an operation is a bit complicated as it would require Burnley and Besiktas to agree to terminate Weghorst’s loan.

It’s no secret that United are keen to sign a new striker this month and Weghorst is an option being looked at with interest at Old Trafford. He scored twice for the Netherlands in the World Cup quarter-final against Argentina. It is said that the manager of the team – Erik ten Haag, is willing to work with Weghorst. It is believed that the specialist wants a player with a similar temperament and is physically strong. The forward has impressed at Besiktas, scoring eight goals in 17 games so far this season.
The media write that United’s goal is to get a new striker on loan until the end of the season, and will review their options in more detail in the summer.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano gives details about the possible deal for Weghorst. Man United are ready to include an option to buy him out for the sum of 10 million euros, so now everything depends on Besiktas and Burnley.
The footballer himself has already given the green light for his transfer to Old Trafford.
