A passenger on a plane sent a nude photo of himself to other passengers

The pilot of a Southwest Airlines flight threatened to cancel takeoff after a man on the plane sent a nude photo of himself to other passengers, CNN reports.

The incident happened before a flight from Houston, USA to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. File transfer was done via Apple’s AirDrop.

“Here’s the deal, if this goes on while we’re here, I’m going to have to go back to the door and everyone’s going to have to get off. I will contact security and your vacations will be ruined. So I’m going to ask you to stop sending pictures,” the pilot told passengers while being filmed by a passenger in a video posted on TikTok that has been viewed around 2.7 million times.

Passenger Teiglor Marsalis, who took the video, said she and her friends boarded the plane and then received a notice to take down the photos.

She stressed that she rejected the notice, but two of her friends accepted it, after which they obtained the nude photos, reports BBC.

“It was a naked man AirDroping himself to everybody,” Marsalis said.

Another passenger notified the flight attendant about the photos.

“The safety, security and well-being of our passengers and employees is the highest priority of the airline team,” Southwest Airlines said in a statement.

Marsalis said the pilot was professional and handled the situation great.

After the pilot’s statement and the flight attendants’ check, the plane took off safely.
