A nightmare! A footballer with a broken leg waits for an ambulance for a quarter of an hour (18+) – Football World – Others
An extremely unpleasant incident was witnessed by the spectators of the match from the Australian league between the teams of Melbourne City and Adelaide, which ended in a spectacular 3:3. In the second half, visiting star Juande suffered a gruesome injury after a duel with City’s Florin Ferenguer.
The Spaniard broke his right leg, and the sight caused some of the players on the field to burst into tears.
Some of the doctors at the stadium had to cover the football player with a sheet so that he would not be seen by the fans and players in the stadium.
The nightmare situation at the AAMI Park stadium lasted for more than a quarter, with 13 minutes needed for an ambulance to arrive to take the injured footballer to the nearest hospital.
As you know, since 2018, clubs from the state of Victoria in the Australian A-League are not obliged to provide an ambulance during their home matches. Instead, only emergency paramedics should be in the stadium.
